Apr. 20/21 - worked on the boat and the snowmobile

Decided to use two days of good weather and did some work at the cottage on Lake Simcoe.
Drained gas from the sled: got 20L... Good for a weekend of fishing! I had a plan to install back repaired suspension, but I found, that the rails were not straight. They wobbled at the straight surface. Here are some pictures:

Good side, nice and straight:

Here is the other one. You can clearly see the bend in the center of the rail:

I had to change plans: need to fix that problem. Time to disassemble suspension again.
Another thing to do on the sled is the secondary clutch sliders. I missed the moment when they worn out, so now I need to install new ones and fix the damage on the moving parts. Some blending will help...
Here is the problem:

I can fix those things at home, so I covered sled until next time...

By the noon I decided to start playing around my boat. Removed the cover... Checked inside: dry and clean as I left it! Good news!
Last year I finished work on the stringers and bulkheads. Well, mostly... Still needed to do some cuts and adjustments. Not a problem! Cutting is always fun! That funny job kept me busy till the evening.
Next day began at 7AM. Went to nearest dock and fished for perch. Beautiful morning! Not too many fish though...

Returned from fishing by 10. Continued work on bulkheads... Assembled everything to check. Here are some pictures:

And here is the picture of myself with the boat:)

Next time plywood will be laminated with a fiberglass and installed in the hull. Need at least 3 days of good weather to do it. Maybe next week...

The first one...

Monday... Again... It's fourth week at home. Renovation in the house was my major goal and still is... All my toys are waiting for my attention... The only thing I completed is my Honda. I installed new oil cooler and cleaned some mess as a result of oil leak I had last season. Now it's oil tight again and runs cool. Can't say that I am satisfied completely with the installation, I could make it nicer, but didn't want to spend too much time on it. Riding season is already here, so every single day spent in garage sets you back:)
My Yamaha snowmobile got rear suspension fixed, now it's gotta be installed back on the sled. Carb is cleaned and ready to go back as well. Still need to find cause of lean mixture, most likely it's something on intake...
